Wondering if everything is ok in here....
(after getting Jordin in the car from "drive through lane")

Jordin (who apparently REALLY has to potty) : "Mom, I think my bladder is going to fall out."
Me (unimpressed by falling out bladder) : "Really? What will you do when that happens?"
Jordin (after contemplating for a moment) : "Make a mess."

(later, while painting new living room "Toffee" color...)

The girls have left me to do the painting (no surprise here... I get out two small containers of paint and two cute little paint brushes and they are done after two strokes) to go and play "restaurant" in the back rooms of the house... they were apparently VERY happy and playing incredibly well together... as Sarah Beth must've become concerned...

SB - "Mom, is everything ok in here?"
Me - "Yes, everything is fine... why?"
SB - "It was so quiet... I just wanted to make sure we weren't getting on your nerves or anything."

Dear child of my heart... when mommy is silent and not answering questions, playing argument referee, or getting on to small children, she is always happy. Remember that.

Coming tomorrow in Mommyhood - Jordin's trip to the dentist....
and later this week... the big annual Easter Egg Hunt... and the insanity that surrounds it.
